About Me

For as long as I can remember, health and wellness has been my passion. I have always been fascinated by the physiological and psychological effects of a healthy lifestyle. My long-term experience in the industry has taught me the many advantages that a healthy lifestyle encompasses.

I chose to further my experience in this field by studying Kinesiology at Chico State University. Here, I was mentored by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the industry. The Kinesiology department at Chico State believes in hands on learning, so I participated in labs and volunteer work that allowed me to better understand the concepts I was taught. I truly loved every minute of my studies (with the exception of chemistry).

My fasicnation with the human body and it's functions led me to continue my education after college. I enrolled at the National Holistic Institute (College of Massage Therapy) in a 900 hour program. I could not have found a school better suited for me. NHI gave me the skill set I needed to help others. I was taught a variety of modalities that can benefit anyone.

I strongly believe my purpose in life is to facilitate the healing process of others and teach them how to live a healthy lifestyle to increase their quality of life. The world would be a much happier place if physical activity replaced TV, a well balanced diet replaced junk food, and massage therapy replaced medication.

"I take a massage each week. This isn't an indulgence, it's an investment in your full creative expression/productivity/passion and sustained good health." Robin S. Sharma
